Movie 2: “Anvil: The Story of Anvil” - Really good documentary about a band that got lost in the mix of the early 80’s metal hair bands. SO many people loved this band but they never reached there full potential / blew up. The documentary by the awesome Sacha Gervasi really captures the struggiling realities of following your dreams and not giving up.
FYI - a ton of people are comparing it to ‘Spinal Tap’ without even seeing the film. This is completely wrong. This is a real documentary with a real band fighting to survive.
